Actress Erika Sawajiri, 22, told reporters outside her Setagaya home on Wednesday that she and hypermedia creator Tsuyoshi Takashiro, 44, will get married at Meiji Shrine on Jan 19. Sawajiri came out to the front of her house around noon wearing sunglasses, oozing the “Erika-sama” image she has become famous for, but was sincere and fielded questions for 15 minutes, and showed off the ring Takashiro designed for her.
She elaborated on how Takashiro proposed to her, saying it was in August last year when they were viewing a total solar eclipse in the mountains of the Altai Republic in Russia. She said: “I went to Turkey to see the solar eclipse with him and a couple of other friends, when I was 19 and we weren’t a couple yet. That was our first vacation together, so being proposed to under an eclipse was very special for me. We’re going to see another one in July from Amami Island in Kagoshima.”
When asked why they decided on a Japanese-style ceremony for the wedding, Sawajiri said: “Well, we are Japanese. And I want to wear a kimono. It won’t be pure white though.” On the reception which will be held in Hawaii, she said: “A stylist friend of mine is designing the dress for me. It won’t be all white; it will have roses on it as well.”
Asked about her attraction to Takashiro, she said: “He’s very much an adult and I’m a bit of a brat, but I don’t feel the age difference. He’s very open-minded and I feel comfortable when I’m with him.”
Sawajiri returned from London on Dec 29 and said she went to the graves of her father who passed away when she was in junior high school and her brother who died in a car accident when she was in high school, and informed them of her upcoming marriage.
She also said she will travel to Barcelona in late January to study graphic design for six months, and will resume acting work after summer.

Actress Erika Sawajiri, 22, will get married to media creator Tsuyoshi Takashiro, 44, media reported Monday. The couple’s relationship was first exposed by a weekly magazine in September last year, and shortly after, Sawajiri gave the media plenty more to talk about when she infamously sulked on stage at the premiere of “Closed Note,” a movie she starred in.
Since then, Sawajiri has refrained from working, and spent most of this year reportedly living with Takashiro in London. She is expected to return to Japan before the year-end and officially announce the upcoming wedding.

It has been reported that Sawajiri Erika (22) has returned to Tokyo with her powerful hyper-media-creator boyfriend, Takashiro Tsuyoshi (44) on 19th August 2008.
Both had boarded the same plane from Okinawa to Haneda Airport but had apparently taken different exits from the airport. Paparazzi managed to get two shots of Takashiro leaving the airport, and it was said that Sawajiri ignored shouts from reporters by pretending to (or not) talk on the phone, leaving no comments.
Takashiro’s birthday was on the 18th of August; it was also reported that Sawajiri had attended his birthday party in Tokyo on the 17th, one day prior to their departure for Okinawa. Photos of them enjoying a luxurious holiday at a high-class resort at Okinawa were also rumoured to have been taken.

On 9 of Aug, Erika (Who appear a litte tanned) & Takashiro was spotted in a night club call "ageHa" in Taipei, Takashiro was invited as a guest DJ for that day and Erika could be spotted near his side giving him support.
There had been rumors that relation between Erika & Takashiro had not been going so well, but their action in the club show otherwise and clearly show that they are still in love with each other.
Reporter said that Erika was very friendly & approachable, she was able to use english to communicate with other people in the club as well
When reporter wanted to take some shots of them, they didn`t refuse at all and both of them put on a great smile for the photo shoot.

Takashiro X Erika Relation still going strong

Tsuyoshi Takashiro came back to Japan on July 21, to attend a Environmental protection event which was held at kanagawa. During the event, he announced that his relation with Erika Sawajiri is still going strong.
This is the first time Takashiro talk about his love relation with Erika in front of the public.
Takashiro and Erika had been living in London for quite a period of time and there`s rumor that Erika was already "tired" of Takashiro and there is a change in their love relationship. During the event reporter asked Takashiro whether if his relation with Erika is still going smoothily, Takashiro happily replied "Yes".
This is also the first time Takashiro breaks his silence and gives comments about his relationship with Erika

Erika to Return to Japan?
May 15th, 2008 by erik4A new rumor is going around that Erika will return to Japan once again sometime in June this year. Apparently she and her boyfriend Tsuyoshi Takashiro will be there to support Hidetoshi Nakata, a former football player (and a good friend of Takashiro) in his first friendly match since retirement.
If Erika does come back, she will also meet with workers at Stardust Promotion to come to an agreement about her future work plans, if any.
